Welcome to Holy Trinity Bukit Bintang’s (HTBB) privacy notice.

1.1           This is the Personal Data Protection Policy (“Policy") of HTBB Church
(“we", “us", or “our”).

1.2           This Policy applies to personal information about individuals (including but not limited to members, attendees, visitors, employees, volunteers, and service providers) we hold. We will process your Personal Data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA"), applicable regulations, guidelines, orders, and statutory amendments.

1.3           The PDPA requires us to inform you of your rights regarding the processing or collection of your Personal Data and the purposes for such processing. The PDPA also requires us to obtain your consent to process your personal data. We are committed to safeguarding your Personal Data.

1.4           By providing your Personal Data to us and/or continuing to engage with us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to the processing of your Personal Data as outlined here.

1.5           We reserve the right to modify, update, and/or amend this Policy at any time with reasonable prior notice. Any amendments will be communicated through announcements or other appropriate means. By continuing to engage with us after being notified of amendments, you agree to and accept those changes.

1.6           If you do not agree to this Policy or any amendments, we may be unable to provide certain services and may require you to terminate your engagement with us.

3.     Collection of Personal Data in Prayer Requests

3.1       We may collect and process personal data shared through prayer requests, which may include:

  • Details about health, family, or personal circumstances;

  • Any other personal data shared as part of your prayer request.

3.2 Personal data provided in prayer requests will be processed for the following purposes:

  • To pray for your specific needs or requests;

  • To provide pastoral care and support where requested;

  • To communicate with you regarding your prayer request, if necessary.

4.     Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data

We may process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To communicate with you;

  • To maintain and improve relationships with church members and visitors;

  • To facilitate event registration, participation, and administration;

  • To provide pastoral care and ministry support;

  • To respond to your inquiries or feedback,

  • To manage volunteer activities and assignments;

Requests may be subject to a nominal fee as permitted by the PDPA. 7.2 You may request to limit or withdraw your consent to process your Personal Data. Your Personal Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by law.
